Multi-media journalist, writer, content producer and leader
Bryce Cohen is a junior sports media student at West Virginia University. He serves as the executive sports editor for WVU’s campus newspaper, The Daily Athenaeum. Cohen is a reporter for WVU’s football and men’s basketball teams and has covered all 18 Division I sports offered at WVU. He manages a staff of assistant sports editors, beat writers and staff writers. He oversees all content that is distributed from The DA’s sports section and has written over 350 articles, created weekly assignment budgets and provided event coverage. Over the past three years, he has worked as a staff writer for news, culture and sports, video editor, photographer and sports managing editor. Last summer, he joined Jomboy Media as a production intern. He produced short-form podcast clips for popular New York Yankees podcast, Talkin’ Yanks, including clips from its weekly interview series with Yankee manager Aaron Boone. In the fall, he was tasked with producing a weekly radio spot for WFAN sports radio, stitching together different Jomboy Media podcasts for Jomboy Media Rewind, a show that followed a strategic partnership between the two New York sports media powers.
